Merry Christmas!!

Merry christmas everyone! It has been a very interesting one for me. This morning, we went to nathaniel's coworkers' house for a yummy christmas breakfast of eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and fruit. Nathaniel had to work at 1:00, so I have been spending the day doing a paint-by-number, cleaning, and relaxing. This past weekend, Nathaniel and I spent a couple of days with the Diener/Martens side of the family. It was a great time for family and relaxing. This first picture is (left to right) Kelli (my sister-in-law), Kazzye (Nathaniel's cousin's wife), and Kurt (Nathaniel's cousin). They have an ADORABLE Chiuahuah named Stella. I'm not a dog person, but she is the tiniest, sweetest, most adorable dog I've ever met. For some reason, I have fallen in love with her, so I got a couple of funny pictures of her. (I think if you gave her wings, she could be a bat) Lately, things have been a lot of fun. We have been enjoying the break from school by doing some of our favorite activities. We got another chance to go snowboarding, and this time, it was a lot better. It had been pretty warm, so the ice melted into a granular, spring-like snow (which is my favorite). We took some pictures and video, but there isnt much to see because its so far away. Hopefully, we will get some better ones to show, but until then, this is all we have. This is me on the ski lift. Fascinating, I know... This is Nathaniel snowboarding down one of the easier slopes. See if you can pick out which one he is.
Well, that's all for now. Keep checking back for more pictures and updates, and thanks for reading! We love you all!

Moving up in the World

Hello again! Things have been very busy around here lately. On saturday, December 15th, Nathaniel graduated from college!! We celebrated by going snowboarding yesterday, but he celebrated by spending saturday playing Xbox. It was a lot of fun, but because of the wierd weather, the slopes were pretty much ice. We are pretty banged up and bruised, but it was well worth it. This picture is right after the ceremony in Worthen Arena at Ball State.

This is a picture of our little 3 foot tree. Isnt it so cute?

And finally, this is our nativity scene and stockings: one for me, one for nathaniel, and one for Zaide. Awwww...

Some Family Photos

Well, I thought I would post some pictures of our family just for fun.
This is a picture of our adorable Cockatiel, Zaide. He's my baby :)

Another picture of Zaide. He likes to be in this mug because he can see his reflection in the side.

A high school picture of Nathaniel

Me with my nephews...aren't they adorable?

And finally, me and Nathaniel. Awwwww...

Getting Back into the Swing of Things

Well, we are back in good ole Muncie, IN and trying to get back into the normal rhythm. School is finishing up, and things are a bit stressful with trying to get everything done. We had a great time in California with mom and dad. Im going to try to put some pictures on here, but this is my first attempt so we'll see how this goes.

It was pretty chilly some days, but we still went to the beach almost every day. As you can see, it didnt get warm enough to burn off that Marine layer of fog, so it was pretty cloudy.

Nathaniel loves to take silly pictures of me, and this is one of them.

This was a beautiful beach that you may have seen pictures of on mom and dad's blog. It was a natural beach in Malibu, and we got there at low tide. There were starfish and all kinds of creatures in the tide pools and such. It was really beautiful.
